Prevent
Prevent is a program designed to foster personal development and successful life skills to youth that have been directly or indirectly impacted by families of incarceration and/or drug abuse. These include but are not limited to kids living in foster care, single parent homes or just youth impacted from broken community. PREVENT is aimed to help boys ages 9 – 17.
Some of the topics include respect for self and others, effective decision making, problem solving, taking responsibility, effective communication skills, team work, identity, purpose and more.
